Volunteer, Today!!
Volunteering at a food bank is more than just giving time; it's an active investment in your community's health and stability. It's a hands-on way to make a real, measurable difference in the lives of your neighbors while enriching your own.
TRAINING PROGRAMS
The Training Programs at Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre help people build skills and prepare for work. Through three pathways; Learning, Workplace Experience, and Employment Transitions. Each program is free of charge and designed to help people reach their personal and career goals.
FOOD BANK PROGRAM
The Food Bank Program provides 2 to 3 days of food in each hamper for anyone living in Saskatoon or within 50 km. Each household can receive two hampers per month, with food like pasta, cereal, bread, meat, and more. Identification for each family member and proof of address are usually requested, but staff will still help if these are hard to provide.
CLOTHING DEPOT
The Clothing Depot is a small community shop where people can find affordable clothing, personal care items, and household essentials. It’s a welcoming space that supports families while helping everyone maintain dignity and independence.
