Saskatchewan Egg Producers
Saskatchewan’s regulated egg farmers are committed to natural goodness, and that isn’t just about the nutritious eggs they deliver, but it’s also about making a positive difference. That’s why SaskEgg has donated $100,000 to the Nutrien Plant Possibility campaign to ensure the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre can continue to meet the significant needs in our community.
SaskEgg’s contribution goes far beyond this cash donation. Each year, it donates hundreds of thousands of local eggs to community organizations—including the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre, Friendship Inn, and Regina Food Bank.
There are 73 registered egg farms in Saskatchewan. These farm families are committed to building stronger, healthier communities and feeding the hungry.
“Saskatchewan’s egg farmers care about ensuring people have access to safe, affordable, and nutritious food,” said Executive Director Dion Martens. “That’s why SaskEgg regularly donates eggs to the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre, and it’s why we’re supporting the Nutrien Plant Possibility campaign too. We encourage all other farming organizations to support this vital project.”
