FCC is proud to be 100% invested in Canadian agriculture and food, dedicated to the industry that feeds the world. They’re also passionate about food security and have donated $500,000 to fully fund the construction of the Second Chance Kitchen at the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre.
For two decades, FCC has been a leader in food security in the country through its Drive Away Hunger program, acting as a catalyst and connector, bringing the agriculture and food industrytogether to support food banks and food security programs. It started with tractor tours in every province, collecting millions of pounds of food donations. Today, the Canadian food industry comes together as donors to make an even greater impact on food insecurity. FCC, along with their2025program partners, donated more than 635 million meals to food security agencies in Canada.
FCC works with partners to identify opportunities and create meaningful results in communities across Canada. They’ve been supporting the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre since 2013. The commercial-grade kitchen will reduce food waste by diverting surplus produce, and other donated food for processing through canning, freezing and preservation, ensuring more food reaches families in need of support.
"At FCC, we are deeply committed to addressing food insecurity and supporting the communities we serve. Projects like The Second Chance Kitchen are an opportunity to make a real impact on food reclamation and community well-being, and we are proud to be a small part of that impact.” – Justine Hendricks, President and CEO, FCC.
