Wild Edibles Walk with Sandra Walker

On a walk with Sandra, participants will have the opportunity to view native and introduced plants as well as weeds that are edible and delicious. This walk will also introduce viewers to the relationship between native plant species and how contemporary and past cultures used them for food, tools, medicine, clothing and shelter. The talk will highlight some of the ethics and risks of wildcrafting and promote an understanding that there are ways to support sustenance and well-being far beyond the supermarket.
