Joseph Alfred Remai Family Foundation

Joe Remai has understood the importance of food from a very young age growing up in a large family on a farm near Carrot River, Saskatchewan. He later moved to Saskatoon where he completed an engineering degree, met his wife Marie, and started a family. In 1963, he co-founded the Remai Group of Companies which has become an established real estate investment and development company that is family-owned and operated to this day.

The Joseph Alfred Remai Family Foundation was established to reflect Joe’s deep commitment to giving back to the community.  Since 2012, the Foundation has been dedicated to improving the well-being of members of the community through various projects. Recognizing the significance of food security and its impact on individuals and communities, the Foundation is generously providing a donation of $1 million to the Nutrien Plant Possibility campaign.

"I am proud to contribute to the Nutrien Plant Possibility campaign so the SFBLC can continue to effectively respond to food insecurity and learning needs in our community.  By supporting this initiative, we want to help make SFBLC’s new home a reality and support their ability to address hunger in Saskatoon.” says Joe Remai.

Thank you to the Joseph Alfred Remai Family Foundation for this amazing gift towards the Nutrien Plant Possibility campaign!
