MLT Aikins LLP

MLT Aikins has donated $180,000 to the Nutrien Plant Possibility campaign to create a new home for the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre.

With more than 300 lawyers and offices in Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver, MLT Aikins is truly ‘Western Canada’s law firm’. Firmly rooted in their communities and the western Canadian ethos of paying it forward, MLT Aikins has a long legacy of community involvement. The United Way, Regina Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, and all Hospital Foundations in Saskatchewan in addition to the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre are just a few of the charities MLT Aikins supports in the province.

From corporate sponsorships, to participating in community fundraisers, to office ‘fun’draising events, to individual volunteering, MLT Aikins is actively engaged in making their communities better places for all. Case in point is MLT Aikins partner Alain Gaucher, K.C., who volunteered his time as a critical member of the Nutrien Plant Possibility Campaign Cabinet.

“The health and well-being of our communities is paramount”, Gaucher said. “Everyone has a right to life’s staples: food security, learning, and employment. Sadly, there are thousands in Saskatoon struggling to put food on the table to feed their families and the food bank is bursting at the seams. MLT Aikins is very proud to be a part of the Nutrien Plant Possibility campaign and help the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre optimize its operations and expand its programs and services.”
