The struggle is real
Between the rising cost of living and inadequate income support, more folks are struggling to make ends meet … as inflation slows, the cost of food continues to increase, and with the rising cost of living, “Walk With Us’ takes you on journey with those who face hunger every day.
Walk a mile in their shoes
Imagine walking a mile without knowing where your next meal will come from. For many people in our community … it’s daily life. This May, we invite you to Walk with Us, and step into the shoes of those who are facing hunger, uncertainty, and hardship every day.
By walking alongside our neighbours, we begin to understand the weight they carry and the power we hold to help lighten the load. Our donation drive’s theme is a heartfelt call to action: step into the shoes of those who struggle, and together, let’s make sure no-one walks alone.
Real Stories. Real People.
Behind every donation is a story, a child who goes to bed with a full stomach, a parent who can focus on work instead of worry, a senior who finds comfort in a warm meal. By participating in “Walk with Us,” you become part of these stories. Your generosity is the step that leads someone out of hunger and into hope
“Walk with Us” isn’t just a slogan … it’s an invitation. We want our community to experience, even for a moment, what it’s like to face food insecurity. We want to build empathy, understanding, and a shared commitment to ending hunger locally. Your support doesn’t just fill shelves; it fills hope.
Every post, every share, every step counts.
